Honestly I ran v3 3 times, I wish we had more volume like sets of 5×8 in the beginning weeks and more acceroy work for overall lower back strength and wrist strength. I enjoyed the benching 4 times a week and squatting. However I think need to incorporate pause squats either on day 1 or the SBD day as power out the hole needs to be stronger. Honestly pauses for the first few weeks to really incorporate tension and form while under sub maximal loads. I think that benching should be 1x close 2 day normal and 1 day super wide to train all widths

Ran Vol 3 for two blocks for two meets and had great results despite facing injuries during a block. I upgraded from Vol 2 (which also resulted in significant gains to all three lifts). At first I thought it was to light and Rep ranges was not heavy enough, little did I know I was so wrong, I finish every workout almost passing out and my shirt soaked, I’m on week 4 and honestly and I am pause repping close to my max on both squat and deadlifts , easily feel I can pause Rep 10 pounds off my max on each if I had to do RPE 9.5-10 , from the way everything looks I’ll be gaining easily 80-100 pounds to my max by the end of this program.

It’s a great program, I’ve ran the v.2 twice and I’m running the v.3 now. Consistent progress, along with not destroying my body makes it a program I can do long term. The autoregulation along with % based work (such as the squats at the end of an SBD day) really compliment each other and help you get the most out of the day no matter how I’m feeling.
